MCRP 2-24B Remote Sensor Operations is a doctrinal publication from the U.S. Marine Corps on intelligence collection operations that complements existing information by detailing doctrine, tactics, techniques and procedures for conducting remote sensor operations in support of the MAGTF (Marine Air Ground Task Force). The primary target audience are intelligence personnel responsible for planning and executing sensor operations but it also provides useful information to those who provide support or utilize reporting from these activities.

This manual outlines fundamentals of remote sensors including their evolution; principles of employment; tactical systems with their respective components; command & control structures along with communications protocols; considerations when planning an operation plus execution guidelines related to deployment/monitoring/information dissemination & utilization.
